Banner - Tree of Life

A rust coloured fabric is the backdrop for the tree of life symbol and the phrase: Life runs in cycles. The wheel never stops turning. No matter how dark the night, morning comes, no matter how cold the winter, spring comes. When you feel despair know that the wheel is turning. Joy will come.

This banner is handmade in Bali from 2 layers of durable woven fabric, with screen printing on the front layer. There is a wooden dowel at top and bottom to keep the banner flat against the wall. The top dowel has woven cord for hanging.

The Tree of Life is a universal symbol that has appeared in myths, legends and stories around the world since ancient times. It may also be known as the Cosmic Tree, the World Tree and the Holy Tree. The roots of the tree touch all that is hidden and growing below, the trunk (mind and body) connects to the branches which represent wisdom, harmony, protection, strength, bounty, beauty, and redemption, among others.
