COVID-19 PLAN

GAIA RISING COVID-19 PLAN

At this point in time at Gaia Rising we are keeping top of mind the health and safety of our beloved customers, friends, and ourselves.

The staff of Gaia Rising is aware through monitoring Provincial Health Officer orders and information bulletins of the risk of transmission of COVID-19 largely through airborne droplets.  To mitigate the risk of transmission within our community and between staff or between staff and customers we commit to wearing our masks indoors to protect our community, our customers and our staff.  We commit to enforcing the order issued through the Provincial Health Officer, which mandates wearing a mask indoors.

WE RESPECT YOUR RIGHTS, if you cannot wear a mask contact us to make arrangements for assistance.  We can offer afterhours access BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT, phone or facetime shopping and pickup. NO ONE IS PERMITTED IN THE PUBLIC AREA OF GAIA RISING METAPHYSICAL WITHOUT A MASK DURING OPEN HOURS.

We are limiting the customers allowed in the shop to FOUR (4) at any one time.  We will ask customers to wait outside until someone leaves if we are at capacity.  If we are not close to full customers are welcome to browse and move freely through the space.  We will remind people about polite distancing if we see people getting too close to each other.

WITH GREAT RESPECT AND LOVE, PLEASE:

  • WEAR YOUR MASK INSIDE,
  • STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK,
  • KEEP YOUR DISTANCE,
  • SANITIZE OF WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE SHOPPING.

If you wish, you are welcome to wash your hands with soap and water in the washroom before you start shopping.  (We use a sanitizing gel with alcohol and aloe vera to be easy on the skin.  It is not recommended for use on broken skin.)

In consideration of others we will stay home and expect the same from you, our customers, if you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19.  The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other respiratory illnesses including the flu and common cold. They include:

    • Fever

    • Sore throat and painful swallowing
    • Stuffy or runny nose
    • Loss of sense of smell
